1Material introduction

 Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material has excellent high temperature resistance, chemical resistance, non-adhesion and hydrophobic properties. It is prepared by biaxial stretching process to obtain PTFE microporous membrane with microporous structure with staggered fibers and porosity. High, small and uniform pore size, therefore, PTFE microporous membranes can achieve higher efficiency at lower resistance. The PTFE microporous membrane is laminated with a woven material such as a polyester spunbonded fabric, a spunlace nonwoven fabric or a needle felt to form a PTFE coating material, thereby improving the strength and stiffness thereof, and meeting the requirements of the subsequent application.


2Characteristics 


(1) Waterproof, the surface can be washed with water:


The PTFE material is highly hydrophobic and has a contact angle with water of about 120°. The unique coating process makes the prepared coating material have good waterproof properties, and its surface energy is low, and it has good non-adhesion. It is easy to remove dust accumulated on the surface of the material, so it can be washed with water to restore performance, achieve re-use, and greatly extend the service life.


(2) High filtration efficiency and high PF value:


The pore size of PTFE microporous membrane can be less than 0.1μm, so PTFE coating material can achieve high filtration efficiency and meet the filtration efficiency rating requirements of sub-efficient, high-efficiency and ultra-efficient air filters. Compared with other high-efficiency filter materials, PTFE microporous membranes have higher PF values and better filtration performance.


(3) Effectively intercept dust at high wind speed:

The PTFE coating material is a surface physical filtration mechanism,the membrane pore size is small, and the material is subjected to high-temperature heat setting treatment, and the microporous structure is stable, so that the dust particles can be effectively intercepted at a high wind speed.
